Back in the days of the Mega Drive, Sega was planning to defeat Nintendo’s mascot, Mario, and claim fame as the top videogame company by producing a more popular, “cooler” mascot. This character is now known as Sonic the Hedgehog, though he went through a surprising amount of changes before he became what we know him as today. In the early planning stages, he was a bunny who extended his ears to pick up and latch onto various objects and enemies. While this idea didn’t initially make it to the final product, Sega eventually retreaded this blueprint as a new project. While he’s not a bunny anymore, this prototype eventually game the popular Mega Drive character, Ristar, who used his extendable arms to save the Solar System.

Kingdom Hearts is one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’m not talking about the series in General, but the very first game that came out. It has a unique mix of characters that change each others worlds and make them into something completely different. I first got this game when it first came out in 2002 and I still enjoy playing it. Lemme fill you in on my opinions about it.

It was a month ago when Capcom released its latest installment to the Megaman series. Entitled Megaman 10, the game took a dive into the days of the original NES games, using the same graphics and gameplay style as its predecessors, much like Megaman 9 did two years ago. It is supposedly the same Megaman that we experienced as a kid, and was a throwback to the roots of the series.
A wonderful game called Spanky’s Quest.

In 1991, a game hit the SNES, and it was so beautiful, it had graced us with undying precision, that anyone who has played it shall remember the name. The balls. The fruit. And, the the monkey which, to me, looks like it has sideburns.

Today was a good day for me. I got a pretty new dress, I met a bunch of new friends, and no one tried to sell me cheap prescription drugs. I actually think a few guys were hitting on me, and I noticed almost 80 guys checking me out in the crowd! I didn’t know whether to feel complemented or offended. This one guy, named Aegis- (He’s kinda cute, but don’t tell him I said that.) told me a few stories over coffee. I think he likes me.

Many people have been just DYING to hear why I hate this game so much. Now, hate is a 4-LETTER WORD strong word to use, but seriously, I like nothing about this game…well, the idea of switching from 2-D to 3-D was not a bad idea, but even that was not enough to convince me that this game has so much potential.
